7. Training session on Trial Advocacy by Simarjeet Singh
The MCS started the academic year with a Training Session on Trial Advocacy Competitions for the students of B.A. & BB.A LL.B – 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year (5 Year Course) and LL.B 2nd Year (3 Year Course) on 18th August,2022. The event was conducted by Adv. Simarjeet Singh Satia (Practicing Advocate Delhi High Court) and also an alumnus of New Law College. He trained the students about substantive and procedural law involved in a Trial Advocacy competition and on how to conduct Chief Examinations and Cross Examinations. He also talked about the procedures for opening and closing statements, submission of evidence, compendium of cases, list of witnesses etc. Over 250 students of the college attended the training session.
8. 2nd Novices’ Intra Trial Competition 2022, 05 September 2022- 6 September 2022 (2 days)

The Moot Court Society conducted the 2nd Novices’ Intra Trial Advocacy Competition, 2022 from September 05-06, 2022 for the students of NLC. The trial problem was based on Dowry Death. Ninety two (92) teams participated in the competition.

9.Training session on memorial drafting and research
The Moot Court Society, also, organized a training session on Memorial Drafting and Formatting. The session was hosted by Mr Pranav Trikha (core-member of MCS) on September 19, 2022, for the students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. academic courses.
10. 1- Day Moot Court Training Session by Adv. Kumar Ankit, Lucknow High Court (BA LLB- NLC PUNE; LLM- RGNUL, PATIALA)
The MCS organized a Training Session on Moot Court Competitions for the students of B.A. & BB.A LL.B – 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year (5 Year Course) and LL.B 2nd Year (3 Year Course) on 29th July, 2023. The event was conducted by Adv. Kumar Ankit (Lucknow High Court) who is also an alumnus of New Law College. He trained the students about substantive and procedural law involved in a Moot Court competition and the etiquette that must be followed in the same. He also talked about the procedures for opening and closing statements, submission of evidence, compendium of cases, etc.
11. 3rd Novices’ Intra Moot Competition 2022, 25 August 2023- 26 August 2023 (2 days)
The Moot Court Society conducted the 3rd Novices’ Intra Moot Competition, 2023 from August 25-26, 2023 for the students of NLC. The Moot Problem was based on Consumer Laws and was open for the students of 2nd, 3rd & 4th year B.A.LL.B/B.B.A.LL.B and 2nd Year LL.B.
